So, How does it feels to be a sex symbol?

I don't know anything about that. Turning 50 [in December 2004]
made me realize that is not the dress rehearsal. It really hits home: to enjoy everyday, to try, and live a good life, healthy life and keeping things simple. The sex symbol stuff, I don't think about.

Do you ever look back at your career?

I don't look back, never have. For what? To reminisce. Maybe when I'm older.

What's been your favorite role?

I enjoyed Training Day - it was my favorite part. I'm blessed to have had so many experiences and to have traveled the world. Going to Africa the first time for Cry Freedom had the biggest impact on me.

Is it true you're going to play Marvin Gaye in a movie?

I don't know what's happening to be honest. It's been around for a long time. I'm too old now, I think. I'd like to see it made, but I don't know if I want to do it.

Do you want to do comedy?

There's a clown in me that wants to get out. Most have said to me, "Why don't you do more comedies? You're real funny?

Just Like My Daddy
Following in his father Rev. Run's footsteps, Joseph Simmons Jr. is ready to launch a hip hop career as a member of rap trio Team Blackout.

"I'm trying to bring hip hop back," JoJo told AllHipHop.com. "I feel like hip hop is a bunch of just dance moves."

The 16-year-old, who rhymes under the name "Make It Happen," says he met his group members - "Conscious" from Queens, NYC and "LP" from Hempstead, Long Island - while in the 7th and 9th grade.

JoJo says he's trying to break free from the long shadow cast by his famous father, who rose to fame as a member of seminal rap group Run DMC. But the youngster admits that he's learned valuable information from watching his dad operate.

"I was on tour with my dad. In London before performing with my dad, signing autographs," Simmons tells Allhiphop.com of the fame he achieved after two seasons on MTV's hit series, "Run's House." "So I'm use to it. I'm ready to show what I got."(Source)

Suge Calls Snoop A Puking, Weepy Weenie Rat

According to TMZ, Suge Knight, rap mogul and founder of Death Row Records, says that there's a reason why Snoop Dogg keeps avoiding jail time despite repeated arrests for drug and gun possession - he's a narc.

Snoop is a rat," says Suge to Page Six. "He's a police informer. This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats."

Still, jail might be about the safest place for Snoop after the new Rolling Stone hits the stands, in which he disses Suge something fierce. "I stepped to him at the BET Awards [four years ago]... and he was more scared than a motherf***er," says Snoop of Suge. He also says he "never was afraid" of Suge, and "was afraid I was gonna have to kill him."

Suge shoots back: "Snoop has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying." (Source)
